G reetings, my name is Juan and this is my very first blog post of many more to come! What is my Goal? The reason I created this blog is in order to log my procedures in creating my magazine for AICE Media Studies. I will be posting these blogs on a regular basis in order to accurately explain how I intend to reach my end product (the magazine cover). My blogs will cover things, such as rough drafts, ideas, possible pictures, and essentially my entire thought process in coming up with the magazine. How will this be done? Since this is AICE Media Studies, I will be going about this blog in a very specific manner with specific tasks in order to abide by the rubric. The magazine will consist of a front-page, contents, and a two-page spread. There is also the possibility that I will be working in a group of up to 4 people. If I am to work in a group, each member of the team will be assigned a specific portion or job, all of which will be discussed in more depth later on.

Target Market: A very important aspect to consider next in my magazine is the demographics. In other words, what is my target audience or the people that will be reading this. This is extremely important because I must make the magazine with the intention of appealing to my target demographic. So if I were to make a magazine on cooking, my target audience will be depending on the content of my magazine. If I were to be doing the magazine on homemade recipes, I would most likely be targeting mothers and fathers, or even those who like to cook at home. The same goes for automotive and fitness magazines. I will have to establish my target audience in order to best meet their needs. Car and Person Cover Ideas

Car and Person Cover: Analysis: This is the last of the three options and I have really taken a liking to these types of magazine covers.  I have found that this is also a cover style that one can get very creative with. I have seen that the angles that one would normally take with the "Single car cover" can be incorporated with a person either inside the car or outside which creates a great deal of flexibility and creativity. In all honesty, the first sample image above is by far my favorite of the four. It incorporates a great angle and it is very appealing to see, due to the contrast of the man's suit and the car's color and design. The other magazines are still very unique and interesting however and they are definitely something I will consider.
