Market Research/Survey Questions:

Now that I have established the topic that I will use in order to create my magazine, it is time to create a survey. These questions will be used in order to have a clear basis on where to start. In order to create my magazine, I must understand what will work and what won't work. My survey will be conducted in my class in order for my classmates to complete it. This will give me a better understanding of what my peers like and ways I can improve my magazine to fit a wider range of needs and likes. However, I will take this with a grain of salt because my class is not composed of many students and therefore the results will not be completely representative of everyone. The questions I will ask will be the following:

  • Would you consider an automobile magazine to be a point of interest for you?
  • Have you ever read an automobile magazine?
  • If you have read one before, what type of cars were displayed?
  • Which of the following would you be interested in seeing on my magazine?
  • Which magazine title grabs your attention?
  • What do you expect to see on the cover of the magazine?
  • What is your sex?
  • What is your grade level?
  • What would you rate this topic?

G reetings, my name is Juan and this is my very first blog post of many more to come! What is my Goal? The reason I created this blog is in order to log my procedures in creating my magazine for AICE Media Studies. Target Market: A very important aspect to consider next in my magazine is the demographics. In other words, what is my target audience or the people that will be reading this. This is extremely important because I must make the magazine with the intention of appealing to my target demographic. So if I were to make a magazine on cooking, my target audience will be depending on the content of my magazine. If I were to be doing the magazine on homemade recipes, I would most likely be targeting mothers and fathers, or even those who like to cook at home. The same goes for automotive and fitness magazines. I will have to establish my target audience in order to best meet their needs. My Samples: After I have analyzed and viewed the different options for a possible automobile magazine cover, it is now time to incorporate what I have learned about the images and take my own photographs. I want to get a feel for the process of taking these pictures and I would like to see which type of magazine cover I will be most comfortable with.
